Cemetery

Went to the cemetery near my house tonight to run the hill. Darkness fell on my fifth ascent. Went to leave and found myself at the gate... Locked in! Had to scale the fence just to get out. Ridiculous.

Last fall my husband and I went to get a pre-approval for a mortgage at the bank. Our banker took down our info and sent in the application. A couple of days later she called us back with good news and bad. "Cari, Ian, the good news is the application has been approved. The bad news is that it is Carl and Lan who have the pre-approval."
